This extensive four-day training course is intended for both maintenance staff and their managers who are training for the first time. This course is also intended for personnel who have been trained previously, but have exceeded the three-year refresher training recommendation. The course is designed for a minimum attendance of two people and for maximum of four people at any one time.
The course covers a detailed fault-finding schedule used by Supply+, which checks all Stiles, Channels, Rungs and Mechanical components. This is followed by a full strip down of a 13.5 ladder, to include dismantling of pawls, wire pulley and rope return. In addition, delegates are given a demonstration explanation of removing and replacement of stiles and channels. Delegates are also shown how to clean and re-assemble the ladder.
The course covers the following:

Maintenance
Correctly service the ladder checking correct inter-component tolerances and lubricate where necessary.
Inspection/Testing
Ensure that the ladder is correctly inspected and apply loading to ensure conformity with relevant BS EN 1147:2010 specification.
